How to call a creator
Placing your first call with a creator is a short sequence:
- Request to call. On a creator’s profile, send a request. It’s card-free — no card, no rate, nothing charged — it just asks the creator for the go-ahead.
- Wait for approval. The creator approves your request and sets the per-second rate for your calls. Approval is standing, so you won’t need to ask again.
- Set up calling. Choose the most a single call may cost, then add a payment card. That max spend is a ceiling, not a fixed price, and it’s the point at which a card is needed at all.
- Ring and connect. Call whenever you like — there’s no “online” state to wait for, and a creator is reachable unless they’ve set Do Not Disturb. When they pick up, you’re connected and the per-second meter starts. Either of you can hang up at any time, and the call ends automatically when your max spend is reached.
Nobody is obliged to answer, so we can’t guarantee a creator will pick up — an unanswered ring just stops ringing, and if a call never connects you’re not charged. See How billing works for the money side.
